Cranberry Short Ribs

6 lb Short ribs
1 c Whole cranberry sauce
1/3 c Vinegar
1 c Orange marmalade
1/2 c Bottled chili sauce


Trim excess fat from ribs and place them in large kettle with sufficient water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours or until ribs are tender when pierced with a fork. Drain. Combine marmalade, cranberry sauce, chili sauce and vinegar in a bowl. Preheat gas barbecue on high for 10 to 15 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Grill short ribs for 20 to 25 minutes brushing with glaze and turning frequently. Ribs should be richly glazed. Serve with remaining glaze
