1 c Mashed whole cranberries
1 c Sugar
1 pk 3oz raspberry jello
1 c Boiling water
1 c Drained crushed pineapple
1 c Chopped celery
1/2 c -chopped nuts (opt)
Combine cranberries & sugar. Desolve jello in Hot water, add pineapple syrup, let chill until partially set. Add cranberries, celery & pineapple.
Pour into dish and chill until firm. This can be made as far as 2 days ahead. It also freezes very well I usually boil the berries until they pop, then just use the potatoe masher. Don't mash them too much, you want some good size berries in the salad.
