Spiced Cranberry Sauce
1 package cranberries - (12 oz)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 McCormick Cinnamon Stick - (3" long)
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Orange Peel
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
Place all ingredients except vanilla in large saucepan. Stir to combine. Heat to boil, reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes or until very thick, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool to room temperature.
Remove and discard cinnamon stick and stir in vanilla. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
This recipe yields 1 3/4 cups.
Tip: Serve with poultry or ham.
