Sweet And Spicy Bean-macaroni Skillet

1 pound lean ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 (28 oz) can Bush's Baked Beans
1 (14 1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes
2/3 cup elbow macaroni -- uncooked
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese -- optional

In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned; drain. Add beans, tomatoes, macaroni, water, and chili powder; stir well. Bring mixture to a boil. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese before serving, if desired.

Makes 6 servings
