Spicy Black Soybean Salsa

4 medium tomatoes -- chopped
1 can chopped green chiles -- (4.5 oz.) drained
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 jalapeno pepper -- seeded and finely diced
2/3 cup canned black soybeans -- drained

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Serve at room temperature or chill before serving. Store in refrigerator.

Yield: 3-1/2 cups. Serving size: 1/4 cup.:
