Beans And Rice

1 tbsp. water
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. celery seed
1 sm. can tomato paste
2 cans pinto beans
Peppers (optional)
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
Cooked brown rice
Olives (optional)

Mix all ingredients except rice and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Serve over rice. Servings: 6.
