Chickpea a la King

3/4 c Water
1/2 c NUTS OR SEEDS
1/4 c Flour
3 tb CHICKEN STYLE SEASONING
1 ts Salt
2 1/4 c Additional water
2 c Cooked garbanzo beans, salted -=OR=- 1 cn (16oz) garbanzo beans, drained
1 1/2 c Frozen green peas
2/3 c Sliced carrot
1/2 c Chopped onion

BLEND smooth the water, nuts or seeds, flour, seasoning and salt. Pour into saucepan. Rinse blender with additional water and pour into saucepan. Lightly boil, stirring, about 5-10 minutes until thickened. In a separate pan, cook carrots and onions in a small amount of water until almost tender. Add peas and cook 3 more minutes. Add drained vegetables and garbanzo beans to the sauce. Serve over brown rice, noodles or potatoes.
