Red beans
Fresh cut corn kernels
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Water


Soak and cook the beans first, drain them, and place them in a casserole with fresh-cut corn kernels (or frozen), a bit of butter, salt, and pepper, and a very small amount of water. Cover and simmer on the top of the stove for a few minutes, until the corn is tender.
