Bean-and-Pasta Stew

2 c Water
1/2 c Sliced carrot
1 tb Chili powder
2 tb Tomato paste
14 1/2 oz No-salt-added stewed tomatoes
31 1/2 oz Imitation chicken broth
4 7/8 oz Bean medley with pasta soup mix such as Kettle Creations 2 c Spinach; torn into pieces

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large Dutch oven, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until the beans are tender, stirring occasionally. Add spinach, and cook an additional 5 minutes.
