Chili and Beans

3 tb Chopped onion
2 tb Green pepper -- chopped
3 Cloves garlic -- minced
2 tb Vegetable oil
1 lb Lean ground beef -- coarsely
1 Ground
2 tb Chili powder
1 cn (16 oz)
1 cn (16 oz)
1 Tomatoes
1 Pinto beans

Saute onions, green pepper, and garlic in vegetable oil until tender. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly. Add chili powder, tomatoes, and beans. Heat thoroughly, adding water it needed. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
