Bean Soup

1 pound white beans (Great Northern)
1 smoked ham hock or 1 lb. smoked ham, diced
1 cup celery -- sliced
1 cup onion -- chopped
1 cup carrots -- chopped
2 bay leaves
1 (16 oz. ) can stewed tomatoes
1 (10 3/4 oz. ) condensed tomato soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans overnight in 4 cups water. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Add water to cover and mix well. Cover and cook on high setting 3 hours, turn to low setting and cook for 8 to 14 hours. Can be cooked entire time on high setting for 4 to 6 hours. Remove bay leaves when done.
