Baked Navy Beans
2 lb Dry navy beans
1 sm Onion; chopped
1 c Ketchup
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Water
2 ts Mustard
2 tb Molasses
1 tb Salt
8 sl Bacon; fried crisp, up to 10
Put beans in three times the volume of unsalted water, bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 minutes. Let stand in covered hot water for 2 hours. Mix other ingredients in bowl. Drain beans well and mix all ingredients and beans together. Put in slow cooker and let cook on low for 12 hours. Stir occasionally.
